Demo, the grandaddy of tech startup launch conferences, will never move to San Francisco, according to the man in charge of the three-day event that gets underway tonight in Santa Clara.



By late 2010, former Nvidia Corp. CIO Ranga Jayaraman was looking for a new Silicon Valley technology challenge.



Storage virtualization startup Tintri on Tuesday named board member Ken Klein as its new chairman and CEO.



Druva, a startup whose software protects and governs use of corporate data, raised $25 million in the new funding.



St. Jude's Medical on Monday said it acquired pacemaker startup Nanostim, paying $123.5 million up front and potentially $65 million more in the future.
