Having trouble viewing parts or all of the newsletter? View the entire newsletter here! Website Links In E-Mail When sending an email in Gmail the other day, I needed to include a link to a website. When I typed it, there was no "hyperlink", or line telling me that it would be an active link. I had to go down to the bottom of the email toolbar, highlight the address, then click on the link button so it showed up as working. I figured there HAD to be an easier way to make the links in Gmail clickable! A quick search showed me there is. You actually do not have to do anything to the address! When you are typing the link, it will not show up as an active link. However, as soon as you send it (or preview it!), it is actually a working link. Made my email sending much easier! ~ Audra Click here to rate this tip | Printer friendly version

Michael from Kissimmee, Florida writes: I want to read the Tech Tips Monthly newsletter, but want to print it out. The problem is, I don't want to print out a repeat of the daily tech info, only the new exclusive stuff. Printing out the whole month's info is too much to print. Michael, you're kind of defeating the idea of an eMagazine here by printing it out. But if you want a hard copy, we'll get you one. Fortunately most PDF readers will allow you to select exactly what you want to print. Here's my Tech Tips Monthly for December opened in a PDF reader. From looking at the table of contents, I know that the new articles are on pages 1 through 13. So I can click on the print icon or select print, depending on the reader I'm using. I can choose to print the entire document, only the page I'm looking at or select a range of pages. Here I've selected pages 1 through 13. I will be able to print off only the articles I want. ~ Cynthia Click here to rate this tip | Printer friendly version Do you have a question for us? Ask it here!
Kathryn from Effingham, Ill writes: Steve; My "Adobe Flash" is not being recognized. I have deleted it from my computer and restored it both from the Adobe site and from the links on the sites that say I don't have on my computer. No matter which way I install it, no site seems to recognize it. It will show up when I check on my programs that are installed on computer. Please, any suggestion would be appreciated. Love your site and thanks in advance. There are several reasons why your computer will not recognize your Adobe Flash Player even if you have just reinstalled it. The browser that you are using when reinstalling the flash player can be the first reason. The outdated flash player and blocked add-ons are the other possible reasons. Here are some ways on how you can make your Flash Player work. Which Browser You Use Matters You cannot watch videos from YouTube if the flash player is not recognized. The very first thing that you may do when you find that your flash player is not recognized is to reinstall it. If you are using Firefox or Internet Explorer, here are the steps to fix the issue: For Firefox Browser Reset the browser to its default settings to resolve the issue with the flash player.
