I've purchased two different SDHC San Disk memory cards and neither one of them will work with my camera. I've tried formatting the cards as instructed and nothing happens. The camera was working find before I lost the card. What should I do next?
Molly, I did a little checking around online and discovered that our camera uses SD memory cards and is not compatible with SDHC memory cards. SDHC cards have a greater storage capacity, but are sometimes not compatible with other devices. Once you set the margins, font, size of font, etc. how do you set default for what you want so it's always the same when you want to write a letter. Are there instructions on the Microsoft website for 2010 and where so I can save it. If you bought Office 2010 over 3 months ago, they charge for support, which I think is terrible. Actually, instructions for Word 2010 are right there in Word 2010. Just select the help button in the upper right corner. It looks like a question mark. Then type in the topic you'd like directions or assistance to complete. Office will then give options to choose from. You may want to look through the Getting started tutorial and the What's new with the ribbon section. I am trying to connect my tablet, and it has shown me the name of my router, but I keep getting a notification of an "authentication problem" when I try to connect. What am I doing wrong? Hi Teresa, thanks for the question. Whenever you get an authentication problem or error, it often (but not always!) means you have made an error in entering the security password. Usually, when connecting with a device, you have the option to show the password when typing it in, as shown in the picture below. Just make sure there is a check mark in the box. (This isn't recommended to do for all passwords, but as you are typing it in, it is very helpful.) Remember also that passwords are case sensitive. Another thing to try is to... Want more? Steven from Louisville, KY writes: My wife has an emachine running windows 7. We would like to reformat it but she has misplaced the system disk. Can we burn a recovery disk to use to reformat it? Since it's a rare occurrence that you'd need your reformat disk shortly after buying a new computer, it's not that uncommon for the CD to get lost in the shuffle as the years pass by. If you no longer have the disc there are still two other methods available to reformat your eMachines computer – maybe. Unfortunately not all eMachines models include additional options for restoring the system back to factory settings, as the company instead sells replacement recovery discs online for those who have lost the original. To determine if your particular eMachines model includes a built-in option for burning a new recovery disc, open up the "Start" menu and select "All Programs." Open the "eMachines" folder and check to see if there is a program named "Recovery Management" or something similar. If the program is listed, click the icon to bring up the recovery tool. 3 Ways To Easily Change Colors In Photoshop Have you ever wanted to change a color in a photo and didn't know how to do it? Maybe it was a personal photo and you wanted to change the color of your sweater, or maybe you were post-processing a product photo and a different color would have been a better fit. Photoshop is the perfect software to make this kind of change, easy and in just a few steps. Anyone can do it and there are a number of different tools which you can use. In this article, I will show you how to easily change colors in Photoshop, by using one of the 3 methods mentioned below. Each one of these methods includes just a few easy steps and none of them involve making a selection on the image. I'll use a photo of a yellow leaf in grass, taken by myself a few months ago. Of course, you're free to use any photo you like and change the colors as you please. The methods can be applied on any photo you have. Tip: Duplicate layer before modifying colors. 1. Selective Color The Selective Color tool is one of my favorite tools, as it is very easy to use. This tool lets you adjust the colors in the image and modify them as you please. Yummly I was really hungry when I started researching sites to share with you, and I had limited options in my pantry, so I figured I'd look up food sites that allow you to exclude items. I found Yummly! Started in 2010 because the site's founder Dave Feller couldn't find a way to search for recipes and exclude mustard. When you arrive there will be a pop up that asks whether you'd like to sign up with Facebook or Google, you can click the X in the top right corner of the pop up to make it go away. Then you can check the site out and see if you really want to sign up. If you do decide to later, just click the Create an Account button at the top right of the page. I choose to F-connect with Facebook like always. I immediately received a welcome e-mail that explained the yum button, how to set my taste preferences, and that I can easily share the things I find via Yummly over Facebook, Pinterest, or e-mail. There are two things I really love besides the ability exclude ingredients from search. The first is the yum button. When you're browsing the mouth-watering pictures of these recipes you can just click the yum button to save the recipe for later perusal. In order to see what you've yum'd, click the yum button at the top of the page on the navigation strip. After you've yum'd five recipes, you'll start getting recommendations for other things you'd like. The second thing I love is that I can customize what I see by my Taste preferences. To set your taste preferences you need to be logged in, and then you'll click on the drop down arrow next to your user name at the top of the page. Choose Taste Preferences, and you'll be whisked away to the page where you can set them up. You can add ingredients you dislike. For example, I added mushrooms, capers, and a long list of seafood. What's really nice is that it will bring up all the options of that ingredient so you can weed it all out! You can also select a diet you follow (Lacto vegetarian, Ovo vegetarian, Pescetarian, Vegan, and Vegetarian). You can also exclude foods you're allergic to (dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, peanut-free, seafood-free, sesame-free, soy-free, sulfite-free, tree nut-free, and wheat-free).
